Meet Emma; Emma likes to play games on her switch, with her favourite game being animal crossing. Emma loves to bake, anything from a victoria sponge to french macaroons or a corned beef pie. She enjoys going camping with her family, and exploring new places while they’re away. Emma also really enjoy crocheting. She loves going to concerts and festivals, Emma’s favourite band to watch is McFLY.
Emma wants to work at Autism Matters because she is passionate about supporting individuals to achieve everything they aspire towards. Emma has found her previous role within an autism support organisation inspiring and fulfilling and wish to carry on supporting individuals to succeed. Emma likes being able to help autistic adults gain the same opportunities as everyone else.
Emma is usually inspired by being told no, or you can’t do that, it drives her to show that she am more than capable of anything and her limits are set by me not someone else.
Emma’s last job was working with young people and adults with autism, she has made lots of friendships and lovely memories there which has made her want to continue positively supporting those who need it.
Emma’s favourite film is Harry Potter
Fun Fact: Emma worked in the teddy bear factory in Butlins Minehead for 2 years and she lived in a BunkaBin!!!
