Support Workers

Our support services are expanding, providing more support for more people locally and regionally. We are looking to recruit some new support workers to join our ever expanding team.

Ideally you will have had experience within the care sector, supporting vulnerable adults. It would be desirable to also have experience working with or supporting autistic adults.

Our social group jobs are available every day of the week except Saturdays, so weekend working is often needed. Support workers can be asked to do a multitude of tasks including supporting people to and from sessions at AMHQ or out in the community, taking part in activities alongside our members. We provide our members with lots of opportunities to try new activities across the region and country, so you will be expected to be good with communication, enjoy socialising and passionate about supporting people.

The PA service matches support staff with Autistic adults to work towards life skills, personal goals, confidence building, starting volunteering opportunities or finding paid work, meeting new people, getting out and about plus so much more! The PA service is tailored for each member and their needs.

Our support workers transport our members to various activities, so having your own vehicle, clean drivers license and business insurance is needed

We pay £12.08 an hour, plus a mileage allowance of 45p a mile
