Meet Kerry; Our Project Lead for Autism Matters Newcastle!
Kerry is a proud mum of 3 grown up lads who hails from `Norn Ireland` originally but has made Newcastle her second home and is officially an `adopted Geordie’.
An outdoorsy girl who loves to meet new people, climb fells, play badminton, sample new food recipes and go on jolly jaunts seeking new adventures.
She believes in making the most of every moment and capturing wonderful memories that will never fade.
“I am extremely lucky to have the best job in the world.
I have a wealth of experience from working in various social inclusion projects throughout a 20 year plus period.
Equality and everyone having a voice is extremely important to me.
This is where my passion lies.
I am inspired daily working at Autism Matters and feel very privileged to be part of a very happy inclusive team with a ‘can do’ attitude.
Seeing others smile genuinely is priceless knowing I have helped make that happen.
Autism Matters allows us all space to grow whilst having fun with copious amounts of giggles along the way.
Work isn’t a word I would use to describe my role.
No day is the same and no person is the same. Just the way I like it.
I adore being part of an incredibly diverse group that enhances and compliments individuality.
Quirky girl that I am, Autism Matters feels like a home from home”
